The Kid in The Cowtown

Todd "The Kid" Foster was a Montana born and bred amatuer boxer in the 1980's.  After a successful run in the Olympics Foster turned pro.  The Kid rattled his way through the Super WelterWeight Division and found himself on a collision course with title contender "Jazzy" Jeff Mayweather (Floyd's uncle).  The two had been scheduled to fight previously in Great Falls Montana, but that fight didn't happen due to illness.  Both fighters found themselves in a hotly contested race for a title shot and would finally meet in August of 1992 in Miles City Montana. How did a fight of this magnitude happen in a rural town of less than 10,000 people in the middle of nowhere Montana?
